We are a young and dynamic technical university in the heart of Lusatia, developing practical, science-based solutions to address major future challenges and global transformation processes.
The Department of Soil-Plant Systems investigates the dynamic interaction between soil, organisms and plants as well as the interaction with nutrient availability, soil properties and climate. In ecosystems that are particularly vulnerable to climate change, our goal is to deepen the understanding of the dynamics of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus.
